BodyJoy Yoga is a place for you to find joy in your body and in movement. The word ‘yoga’ means connection between the body and the mind. In our classes, we find that connection and nurture it through exploration of our own body’s limits and strength, focusing on the breath, and working to calm the mind’s chatter.
Yoga is a practice that can be tailored to any age, ability, or experience so we strive to hold inclusive and safe environments for everyone, regardless of body type, sex, gender identity, race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, or disability. No matter how you identify, you’re welcome at BodyJoy Yoga.
Your Instructor:

Abigail Geiser (she/her) is a 200-hour yoga instructor certified in Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Disabilities, Self-Myofascial Release, and Kids Trauma-Sensitive Yoga. Her approach to yoga relies on meeting yourself where you are instead of a one-size-fits-all approach. Everyone’s body is different, and so are our yoga practices!
Abigail started practicing yoga in college after some injuries and (admittedly) was terrified for the first class. But after her first Child’s pose and Savasana, she knew she’d found something worth holding onto.
Her favorite styles of yoga to teach are Kids Yoga and Restorative. She loves to introduce the grounding effects of mind-body connection to her students and give them the confidence to try new things—all while building strength and mobility!
